On those days I absolutely do NOT feel like messing with my hair, I love to throw it up in a chic clean bun. I've worn this look to work as well as on the weekends.

Mine is the exact same--a bun! Totally hides my dirty/frizzy/gross/whatever the problem is hair. I use braids for the same purpose! Also, I don't know who Whitney Port is, but she is GORGEOUS!!
I used to wear my hair in a bun all the time...before I foolishly cut over 10 inches of my hair off :(
How funny that you mentioned The Devil Wears Prada- I watched that movie on Sunday!!
I end up looking like an old school ma'am when I wear a bun for some reason. Lately my favourite hairstyle has been very roughly pulling my hair up into a cluster and using a few small clips to tie it in place, and a flower clip on the side to finish it off. I love the wild, romantic effect it has.
I usually go with a messy bun ... kinda like the one whitney has in the 1st pic. It actually looks really good on you! {not everyone can pull it off and still look fab}
